Weekly Review:
1. Fun – Score: 8
- Highs: A busy and fun week. Saw some of our closest friends and we spent lots of time outdoors.
- Lows: Not much for lows here, just still trying to plan some camping and more fun activities.
- Highs: Work has been super busy with multiple projects going on at once. I enjoy juggling many projects and tasks so this makes me happy.
- Lows: I need to find time for training that I want to get done and a certification I want to earn.
- Highs: No real highs here.
- Lows: Still need some focus here. Can’t seem to find the time although this is such an important area.
- Highs: I have been reading “The Power of Now” nightly, a few pages before going to sleep. I have been increasingly thinking about the concepts more throughout the day and this brings me peace.
- Lows: I need to continue to apply what I’m reading.
- Highs: Feeling great in this area. I’d love to build some goals around finances for our family. No time, which leads to the Lows…
- Lows: Still no budgeting (no time, what’s new?).
- Highs: We’ve been having some fun times lately and really enjoying each other’s company.
- Lows: We have a lot of goals we want to achieve together but by the end of the night, Netflix is about all we can accomplish (almost all the way through Seinfeld!)
- Highs: I have been keeping up with clearing out the main areas pretty good. Folded laundry isn’t staying on the couch as long as usual, so there’s a win.
- Lows: I have a lot of random piles I need to go through (travel stuff, suitcases, birthday box, school piles). Ugh.
- Highs: Saw lots of friends and family this week so that was a huge plus!
- Lows: Still just need more time to fit in all the things.
- Highs: I just finished a book called “Sprint” and it was very inspiring. Now I’m working on “The $100 Startup” and it really has my brain churning. I love a book that helps my motivation!
- Lows: I haven’t had time to implement what I’m learning.
- Highs: I have been getting in at least 2 runs a week as I gear up to start my July challenge of aiming to run a 5K in under 30 minutes.
- Lows: I have about 5lbs I still want to lose but I can’t seem to shake it. My usual tactics don’t seem to be working now that I’ve hit 40 years old and I’m not sure what to do about it.
The last few weeks have been insane even though we are done with school for the summer. Who knew I’d be missing the routine of school days?? We are trying to make it work between football camps, soccer camps, baseball camps, baseball games, friend parties and family visits. Oh yes, and full time working!!
My focus areas for this week are:
1. Home/Environment – I need to focus on my weekly cleaning tasks and tackle a few piles I’ve let grow. I had this for last week and accomplished nothing so I’m going to try again.
2. Spirituality – I skipped a few days of reading “The Power of Now” so I need to make sure I get back to this routine.
