1. Fun – Score: 7
- Highs: We had a busy fun week with kid sports. My daughter had her first soccer game and my son had his first baseball game. I love watching my kids enjoy sports so it was a fun week. Plus, the weather is finally turning warmer and that gets me excited for having fun outside finally.
- Lows: Not much in the low category this week, just need to plan more fun things to do.
- Highs: I worked really hard this week and had a lot to accomplish. I’m really excited to be permanently working from home and I’m enjoying getting a lot done.
- Lows: Still so much work to do!
- Highs: Still working on how I can increase this score. May need to set this as a focus area soon.
- Lows: This area is really dragging down my overall score, but I can’t seem to find any time to improve it.
- Highs: I finally started reading “The Untethered Soul” each night before going to sleep. I tackle at least one chapter a night and then I try to think about what I read as I drift off to sleep. I’m excited to finally increase this score.
- Lows: Still need more in this area, but working on it feels good!
- Highs: This area is still going well. Not much as changed.
- Lows: I still have too many ideas and not enough action in this area.
- Highs: Enjoying watching our kids play sports and excited to reach a new level of parenting as our kids are getting older and taking on more responsibilities.
- Lows: Still need some date nights to get this to a Level 10.
- Highs: I did a little bit of decluttering this week and I finally felt motivated to tackle my home, which is something I haven’t felt in a long time.
- Lows: With how busy our schedule has been (we had an activity every weekday night plus two games on Saturday and practice on Sunday), our house is an absolute disaster. Hoping to get caught up early this week.
- Highs: Starting to see family more which is really nice! Also making plans with friends, so really looking forward to some get-togethers.
- Lows: Not much in the low area, just need more time!
- Highs: Reading a few good personal development books and making some changes and improvements that are really having a good impact.
- Lows: I need to slow down a bit and really take the books in that I read.
- Highs: I’m enjoying the new workout program I’m doing and feeling strong.
- Lows: I stopped macro counting and I’ve been looser with my nutrition and I’m worried I’m losing some gains I had during the first quarter of the year.
The weather is finally starting to warm up and I can feel the effects on my mood and outlook. We have a lot going on and life is getting very busy but I love that feeling. Today I needed to run a million errands and get so much done and I never had time to sit down or scroll on my phone and I could feel the positive effects on me. I felt energized and excited instead of unmotivated, and I think keeping myself busy and moving is something I need to focus on.
My first focus area was Environment last week. Our home is a disaster so I really need to focus on this area again this week and see if I can actually make progress instead of letting the kids drive us into the negatives.
My other focus area was Spirituality. I finally started reaching “The Untethered Soul” a little bit each night and I can feel it making a difference. I’m going to keep this area for the next week as well.
My focus areas for this week are:
1. Environment – Our house is an embarrassing disaster. I could not have someone over right now and it makes me sad. I need to focus on it this week to get it back to presentable.
2. Spirituality – I am keeping this here so I can continue to improve this area and not let it fall back down.
Have a Level 10 week!
