Weekly Review 4/28 – 5/4

Dates: 04/28/24 – 05/04/24

My weekly reviews are going to be shorter and to the point. I’m making this year about simplifying!

Wheel:

Weekly Review:

1. Fun – Score: 7

Highs: Still focused on kid sports. I love this age because we start to do some travelling for games and tournaments. This past weekend we were in three cities for soccer and basketball.
Lows: Not much for lows this week, just need to balance all the sports with some family activities.

2. Career – Score: 7

Highs: Lots going on and enjoying have a medium-sized task list.
Lows: Lots of training I wanted to get in but still not enough time.

3. Contributions/Giving – Score: 2

Highs: Not much in this area.
Lows: Still looking for more ways to help.

4. Spirituality – Score: 2

Highs: I have not done much reading in this area as I planned.
Lows: Need to focus on my reading in this area (at least). I lowered my score this week from last week because of this.

5. Finances – Score: 7

Highs: Doing well here.
Lows: Continuing to dream of a budget.

6. Relationship – Score: 5

Highs: Doing ok. Spending time away from each other due to kids’ sports makes the heart grow fonder, right?
Lows: Still struggling in some areas but no time to work on improvements.

7. Environment – Score: 6

Highs: We had family come stay with us for the weekend so our home is still semi-clean. At least the super-messy areas were purged (even though the items were just stuffed into hidden areas)
Lows: I’m still behind on some decluttering.

8. Family/friends – Score: 8

Highs: We’ve seen lots of family with all the sports games and tourneys.
Lows: Never enough time to spend with the ones I love.

9. Personal Development – Score: 7

Highs: Reading a lot and implementing as well. I listened to the audiobook for Jon Acuff’s “All It Takes Is A Goal” and I have a lot of key takeaways that I can’t wait to start implementing.
Lows: Still need to find time to make sure I implement better.

10. Health – Score: 9

Highs: Feeling really good in this area. I’m running three times per week and still finding a way to fit it in even with all the sports travel. Also feeling good around nutrition. Looking forward to knocking out my races and then getting into some weight lifting.
Lows: Not much for a low, just looking forward to changing it up in this area. I have been following running programs for almost 6 months and I’m reading for something new.

Weekly Total: 60/100 (0 change from last week)

We are super busy with sports and I actually love it. Having a set schedule around practices, games and travel means I know I need to get other important items done in the pockets of time that I have. This helps me to not procrastinate because there is no other time to do these things.

My focus areas for this week are:
1. Environment – I’m focusing on decluttering this week and starting my plan.
2. Personal Development – I listened to the “All It Takes Is A Goal” book during our drives and now I need to make sure I implement it and don’t just let it go.

What are you working on this week? I’d love to hear about it in the comments below.
