Weekly Review 5/5 – 5/11

My weekly reviews are going to be shorter and to the point. I’m making this year about simplifying!

Weekly Review:

1. Fun – Score: 8
 
Highs: Very focused on kids sports and really enjoying it. We are travelling for multiple sports, spending time with friends and family, and having a great time watching our kids learn and grow.
Lows: Not much for lows this week, just need to balance getting things done with travel and sports.

2. Career – Score: 7

 
Highs: Had a productive week where I needed to be in several hours-long meetings, which I typically dislike but it made the week go quickly.
Lows: Lots of training I wanted to get in but still not enough time.

3. Contributions/Giving – Score: 2
 
Highs: Not much in this area.
Lows: Still looking for more ways to help.

4. Spirituality – Score: 3

Highs: Have done some extra reading in this area this week. At least it’s something!
Lows: Need to continue to focus on my reading in this area.

5. Finances – Score: 7

Highs: Doing well here without much to highlight.
Lows: Continuing to dream of a budget. Excited that the Declutter 365 tasks coming up include budgeting. Time to dust off my financial software!

6. Relationship – Score: 6

Highs: Had a great week and spent some quality time together this past weekend.
Lows: Still struggling in some areas.

7. Environment – Score: 6

Highs: Our main living areas are still looking decent after we had family visit. We have also been travelling and out of the house often so that helps keep it clean-ish.
Lows: I’m still behind on some decluttering but catching up!

8. Family/friends – Score: 8

Highs: We’ve seen lots of family and friends with all the sports games and tourneys.
Lows: Never enough time to spend with the ones I love.

9. Personal Development – Score: 7

Highs: Reading a lot and implementing as well. I’m sorta in between books so I need to find my next great read. I am currently wrapping up “Build the Life You Want” and “Don’t Start a Side Hustle”.
Lows: Still need to find time to make sure I implement better.

10. Health – Score: 8

Highs: I’m doing pretty great in this area. I have a few races that I’ve been training for that are not happening like I wanted. One of them I ended up having to walk with one of my kids because we didn’t have someone to walk with my child while I ran. I didn’t mind the bonding time though! So much fun. The next race I am in occurs on the same day as some kid sports and I may not make it. Ugh. Still trying to hope for a miracle!
Lows: Not much for a low. Looking forward to changing it up in the next couple weeks. I’ve been running three times a week and strength training four days a week. I’m going to switch to a weight lifting program 5-6 times a weeks and then fit in runs as I can.

Weekly Total: 62/100 (+2 change from last week)

As May is in full force, we are just extremely busy with sports, school end of year activities, teacher appreciation, concerts, and all the normal life stuff. I am overwhelmed but trying to relax and enjoy it knowing that it will all come to an end here soon.

My focus areas for this week are:
1. Environment – Continuing to focus on decluttering this week and starting my plan.
2. Relationship – Need to connect with my hubby in between all these activities!
