1. Fun – Score: 9
- Highs: We had so much fun this week with family and friends for both Christmas and New Year’s Eve. We visited family, had multiple Christmas celebrations, and went over to a friend’s house to ring in the New Year.
- Lows: The only low here is that during the week between Christmas and New Year’s, we didn’t do much. I really enjoyed resting and doing next to nothing, but I also sometimes look back and regret not getting outside and doing more activities with the kids.
- Highs: I didn’t work all week, so I wasn’t sure how to score this. Happy to have those days off but I know the amount of work I have waiting for me when I return.
- Lows: Not much, I just know I have a lot of work to do when I return and I was dreading it a little.
- Highs: Lots of options to donate during the holiday season. We donated and provided Christmas gifts to many organizations and families.
- Lows: Definitely need to keep this up throughout the year.
- Highs: I had to return “The Untethered Soul” so I am no longer reading this book and I dropped the score.
- Lows: Need to determine what else I can do in this area aside from reading.
- Highs: Christmas budget went well. Feels good.
- Lows: Need to sync my budgeting app. Still. Ugh.
- Highs: Had some fun together over the Christmas break. Looking forward to more in the New Year.
- Lows: No date nights still so that’s a bummer.
- Highs: Our Christmas decorations are holding up well and I’m having a hard time taking them down. Hopefully this weekend.
- Lows: The house is fairly messy with all the Christmas gifts and the kids being home for two full weeks.
- Highs: We saw lots of family and friends over the holidays. Absolutely a 10 in this area!
- Lows: No low here!
- Highs: I had an amazing week full of planning and preparing for the New Year. I went through my Blueprint and also re-read The 12 Week Year and made my plan for the first 12 weeks of 2023.
- Lows: I started to get sick at the end of the week which put a damper on my goal setting and planning.
- Highs: Workouts went well during the week off. I only took two rest days over Christmas so I thought that wasn’t too bad.
- Lows: I need to figure out what to do about some health concerns, but I’m doing ok so far.
The week between Christmas and New Year’s is always a weird week. I had an amazing time with family over Christmas and then friends on New Year’s Eve. We ended the year on a high note and I can’t wait to see what 2023 brings.
My focus areas for this week are:
1. Health – I am starting a new program and eating plan so I have a lot to focus on in this area for the first week of the year.
2. Environment – Our home is a disaster after Christmas and having the kids home for two weeks so I really need to get it back in shape.
Have a Level 10 week!
