Weekly Review 5/12 – 5/18

My weekly reviews are going to be shorter and to the point. I’m making this year about simplifying!

Weekly Review:

1. Fun – Score: 9
 
Highs: This month has been very busy and very fun. We have travelled for multiple sports being in different cities in one weekend. I’m enjoying every crazy second.
Lows: Not much for lows this week, just need to keep on top of all the tasks around here.

2. Career – Score: 8

 
Highs: I am currently working on multiple projects which is keeping me very busy.
Lows: Lots of training I wanted to get in but still not enough time.

3. Contributions/Giving – Score: 2
 
Highs: Not much in this area.
Lows: Still looking for more ways to help.

4. Spirituality – Score: 3

Highs: I’m still trying to get in reading in this area.
Lows: Need to continue to focus on my reading in this area.

5. Finances – Score: 8

Highs: Doing well here without much to highlight. Lots of goals that hopefully we can get to.
Lows: Continuing to dream of a budget. I made some progress on this but not enough.

6. Relationship – Score: 7

Highs: We have had a wonderful few weeks!
Lows: We’ve needed to spend quite a bit of time apart lately due to kids’ travel sports.

7. Environment – Score: 7

Highs: Our main living areas are still looking fairly good due to my mom coming over recently, haha!
Lows: I’m still behind on some decluttering but catching up!

8. Family/friends – Score: 8

Highs: We’ve seen lots of family and friends with all the sports games and tourneys.
Lows: Never enough time to spend with the ones I love.

9. Personal Development – Score: 7

Highs: Reading a lot and implementing as well. I’ve finished “Build the Life You Want” and “The Miracle Equation”. Next up is “Slow Productivity”.
Lows: Still need to find time to make sure I implement better.

10. Health – Score: 7

Highs: I’m doing pretty well in this area. I finished up a 2nd 12-week running program. I think it’s time to take a break from running for a week or so and then I’ll try something a little less intense. My focus now is going to be on strength training and body composition.
Lows: Not much for a low. I did have to miss a 5K recently that I signed up for in November of last year. I had been training for this 5K since November to try to beat a goal I have and I had to miss it. I was bummed but there’s always next year.

Weekly Total: 66/100 (+4 change from last week)

May has proven to be an insane month so far with travel sports, concerts, year-end celebrations, practices, field trips and many, many school functions. I am just trying to embrace this season and look forward to the peace of a week or two this summer where we have no commitments! Ha.

My focus areas for this week are:
1. Environment – Continuing to focus on decluttering this week and starting my plan.
2. Health – I am starting a new workout plan and I need to focus on improving my nutrition.
