Weekly Review:
1. Fun – Score: 6
- Highs: Very busy week again with baseball. Not many “fun” activities aside from kids sports. Looking forward to summer.
- Lows: Still haven’t done much beyond kids sports and working.
- Highs: Really busy week with multiple projects. Had a release this week for one of my projects and I was very stressed about it and it went flawlessly. Feeling great after that!
- Lows: Need to find time to do some of the training I wanted to get done this year.
- Highs: No real highs here. Need to brainstorm options.
- Lows: Still need some focus here. Haven’t improved this score at all this year.
- Highs: Still trying to implement ideas from The Untethered Soul. Next book is The Power of Now.
- Lows: I feel myself forgetting about this area again. Waiting on The Power of Now to become available at the library.
- Highs: Feeling really good in this area. We have some plans we need to take action on, but making plans is exciting in itself!
- Lows: I need some time to focus on this.
- Highs: Had a few improvements in communication this week. I just finished a good book that I’m hoping to use some ideas from (Do One Thing Different was the book).
- Lows: This area needs some focus in the next few weeks.
- Highs: Not much here. Keeping up with the basics.
- Lows: Still not getting as much done as I want. I need a plan, but too often I waste time thinking I need to have a plan first instead of just doing the work.
- Highs: Saw some family during kids sports. Not getting enough time with them but looking forward to easier summer days.
- Lows: Still just need more time to fit in all the things.
- Highs: I’ve found a groove with reading this past couple weeks. I have my personal development book I read in the morning and then throughout the day when I have time (this one I usually takes notes on). Then, I have another book that I read during pauses in my workout (this one I usually don’t take notes on). This has helped me to get through books much quicker. During my workout breaks I’ll read a page or so quickly. The first book I read when doing this was a book on organizing. The second was called Body for Life. I was just looking for motivation and maybe a few tips so I didn’t need to take notes or read too closely. I like this new process since I have quite a few books to get through.
- Lows: I still need to take more action instead of always thinking about things. Less planning, more doing!
- Highs: I’m feeling ok about my workouts and running plan for my next 5K.
- Lows: I’m struggling with a little weight gain. It’s just a few pounds and I know I can get it off fairly easily (at least I used to be able to before I hit the big 40 mark). Hoping to reign it in before summer.
We are nearing the end of the school year and there is a lot going on. Looking forward to some easier summer days.
My focus areas for this week are:
1. Career – I have a lot on my plate this week and I need to work through quite a few items. Hoping to focus on this and get shit done.
2. Environment – Our first floor needs a good detailed cleaning this week.
Have a Level 10 week!
