Weekly Review:

 

1. Fun – Score: 6

  • Highs: Lots of kid sports. Enjoying seeing friends.
  • Lows: Haven’t done much beyond kid sports and work but looking forward to summer.
2. Career – Score: 4

  • Highs: Really busy at work with multiple projects. I enjoy being busy so scored higher in this area.
  • Lows: Had some big issues come up this week that really made me feel less than competent, but working through them. Big drop in the score this week due to those issues. Many late evenings and I even missed one of my son’s baseball games 🙁
3. Contributions/Giving – Score: 2
  • Highs: No real highs here.
  • Lows: Still need some focus here.
4. Spirituality – Score: 5
  • Highs: Reading The Untethered Soul each night and I finished it. I think I might re-read a bit this week until I get my hands on my next book for my nightly spiritual reading: The Power of Now.
  • Lows: Feels good to finally do something here.
5. Finances – Score: 7
  • Highs: Doing good, just haven’t focused enough lately. 
  • Lows: I need to get things organized and do more tracking here. I’d love to have a budget and a system of tracking it.
6. Relationship – Score: 6
  • Highs: Had some good times this week. Still need that date night but planning some fun summer activities (adults only!)
  • Lows: When I’m under stress at work, I tend to be easily frustrated in other places in my life and my hubby took the brunt of that this week. Hoping, no PLANNING, for a better week this week.
7. Environment – Score: 4
  • Highs: Not much here. 
  • Lows: Our home is a mess with all the weeknight activities. Ugh.
8. Family/friends – Score: 6
  • Highs: Saw some family and friends during kids sports. Never enough though!
  • Lows: Just need more time to do all the things and see all the people.
9. Personal Development – Score: 6
  • Highs: Reading some good books but need a new one to start and can’t seem to choose.
  • Lows: Still frustrated by the amount of reading I want to do versus what I can find time to do.
10. Health – Score: 7
  • Highs: I’m enjoying my morning workouts and feeling good. I have a 5K coming up and I’m looking forward to that. I finally decided to put macro counting into my backlog of projects so I can focus on other things.
  • Lows: I haven’t had any time to run and I need to get in a few of them before the 5K. I think I’m going to try to run during kid practices this week.
Weekly Total: 53/100 (-8 points from last week)

Had a rough week. I had a few big issues come up at work that really affects the rest of my areas but we handled them and I’ve learned from them. However, I did miss one of my son’s baseball games due to some work issues I had to stay late to deal with and it really made it a rough week. Here’s to a much better week!

My focus areas for this week are:

1. Health/Fitness – I have to get out on a few runs this week and do some training before the 5K I signed up for.

2. Environment – I’m reading a book on organizing and it’s giving me some inspiration! Plus we have some visitors coming in a few weeks so I really need to get this place under control.
