1. Fun – Score: 8
- Highs: Another busy fun week. Kids are in a bunch of camps and we are enjoying the beautiful weather. Seeing friends and family and getting out of the house is always so nice.
- Lows: Not much for “lows” here, just need to make sure we fit in all we want to do this summer.
- Highs: I am very busy with work as one big project is starting to near the end. I have so much to do but I love to be busy and really do enjoy a long to do list.
- Lows: I have some big goals around training and certifications that I just haven’t had much time to devote to studying.
- Highs: No real highs here.
- Lows: Still need some focus here. Can’t seem to find the time although this is such an important area.
- Highs: I have been reading “The Power of Now” nightly, a few pages before going to sleep. This gives me some ideas to think about as I fall sleep. It’s not much, but it’s something.
- Lows: I need to continue to apply what I’m reading.
- Highs: Feeling great in this area. I’d love to build some goals around finances for our family.
- Lows: Still no budgeting (no time, what’s new?).
- Highs: After more than 10 months, we finally had a date night. It was so fun and just left me hoping for more of them soon.
- Lows: Need to find some activities that don’t involve Netflix but we are just so busy.
- Highs: House is looking ok. I’ve been trying to clean up as I go, which has helped. Did a major clean up of our mudroom and it really needed it after the explosion that always comes after the last days of school.
- Lows: I have a few piles from birthday parties and end of school that I still need to purge. Yes, last year when school started I found items that I had not purged from the previous year. Yikes. I’m on track to do that again.
- Highs: Saw friends and family last week. Looking forward to more!
- Lows: Still just need more time to fit in all the things.
- Highs: I am drifting between books and I love when I get to pick my next big read. I have been reading a book called Sprint that I’ll review in the future and it has really inspired my side coding projects.
- Lows: I haven’t had time to implement what I’m learning.
- Highs: I’m finally getting back into a regular running routine. The weather has gone from mostly too cold to run to now almost too hot (surprise, surprise). Still so excited to be running outside again!
- Lows: I have a little weight gain I’m not very happy about. This turning 40 is no joke.
The weeks since school has ended have been way busier than I anticipated. I am struggling with trying to find some structure to our days while also letting my kids have some summertime freedom. We have a few camps going on so hopefully we can find some routine in our days once we get further into summer.
My focus areas for this week are:
1. Home/Environment – I need to focus on my weekly cleaning tasks and tackle a few piles I’ve let grow.
2. Personal Growth/Development – I need to work on my goals and plan tasks and then GET STARTED (see my previous post on less planning and more doing).
Have a Level 10 week!
