Weekly Review:
1. Fun – Score: 8
- Highs: The week started out with some camping, the middle consisted of final days of sports camps, and the end of the week was fully of baseball tourney games, a family 5K and a trip to a waterpark. So busy around here! We are milking summer for all it’s got!
- Lows: Not much for lows here, just need to get in more fun!
- Highs: We are closing in on the end of a project and I love this time. I feel like I’m busy herding the cats but I love the feeling of trying to keep all the balls in the air (and actually doing it!)
- Lows: I need to get in some important training for a big goal I have this year.
- Highs: I need to brainstorm some ideas to increase this area.
- Lows: Still a sad, low score.
- Highs: I’m trying to re-read “The Power of Now” by Eckhart Tolle. Did more reading this week. I started the book over again because I let too many days go in between reading. I’m ready to get this one done.
- Lows: Keeping this low because I haven’t been reading consistently before bed like I want.
- Highs: We’ve been busy but finances look great. Big plans coming.
- Lows: Still haven’t worked on a budget like I’ve always wanted to do. Once I get that done (and fairly automated), then I think this score can max out.
- Highs: Enjoyed some quality time during camping and kids’ games.
- Lows: Need a date night but have some good plans coming.
- Highs: House is still a disaster. I did tackle a few hot spots however.
- Lows: We were out of the house all weekend and the house shows…not that it’s clean and stayed that way, but that we did a lot of “come home quick, drop and run to the next thing”.
- Highs: We participated in a 5K recently. My son ran and my daughter walked with my mom. It was fun! We saw lots of family and friends for the baseball tourney as well.
- Lows: I have some friends I haven’t seen in awhile so hoping to get to see them soon.
- Highs: I’m still working on some of my big goals and planning. I have to be careful that I don’t spend all my time doing that instead of taking action. Feeling really good about the books I’ve been reading lately. We are even reading a PD book for work and I love that!
- Lows: Never enough time!!
- Highs: I finally reached a huge goal I’ve had for over a year. I started running consistently in sprint of 2021 but quit over the winter. This sprint I slowly started back to running and I really wanted to accomplish the goal I’ve had for awhile of running an official 5K race in under 30 minutes. I finally did it! I’m so excited and really looking forward to accomplishing more health goals.
- Lows: I really need to get my nutrition goals figured out soon. Hoping to start a new program on Thursday of this week and dial in my nutrition for the end of the summer.
I can’t believe how much we did this past week. We went camping, took kids to summer camps, did a baseball tourney on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, completed a 5K, and hit up a waterpark for a few hours. It was a beautifully busy week!
My focus areas for this week are:
1. Home/Environment – I’m choosing this area yet again because we have been so busy that it’s really being neglected.
2. Spirituality – I skipped a few days of reading “The Power of Now” so I need to make sure I get back to this routine. Starting this book over and reading it nightly before bed.
