Weekly Review:
1. Fun – Score: 8
- Highs: We had a lot of fun with family and friends over the long Fourth of July weekend. My son played in a baseball tournament and then we had a BBQ and shot off some fireworks for the holiday. I had five days off, so that was nice!
- Lows: Not much for lows here, just watching summer go by way too fast and trying to pack in all the fun!
- Highs: I am very busy at work which I truly love. Give me a long to do list and time to do it and I’m a happy woman!
- Lows: I haven’t had as much time for training as I’d like. Hoping this changes soon.
- Highs: No real highs here.
- Lows: Haven’t focused here and this is really dragging down my total score. Plus, it feels good to give and I’d like to do that more.
- Highs: I’m trying to re-read “The Power of Now” and implement more of the ideas from Eckhart Tolle.
- Lows: I haven’t read before bed in a few nights so this score is going back down.
- Highs: This area is going well. We have been saving and still able to do some fun activities.
- Lows: I need some concrete goals to strive for in this area.
- Highs: We had a lot fun at a wedding this weekend. We love to dance (and I SO love that my husband loves to dance and is good at it) so we love a good wedding. Dancing to so many different genres of music is not something you can get by just going out to a club these days.
- Lows: Not much for lows here, just need to keep it up!
- Highs: We cleaned up pretty good before our Fourth of July BBQ and I’ve been trying to keep it that way.
- Lows: I have a lot of random piles I need to go through (travel stuff, suitcases, birthday box, school piles). Ugh.
- Highs: Saw lots of friends and family this last week with baseball games, BBQs and a wedding.
- Lows: Still just need more time to fit in all the things.
- Highs: I’ve been working through some goal setting with a system called “The Blueprint”. It’s been slow going but very important work.
- Lows: I have been getting behind in the “$100 Startup” book and it was motivating me, so I need to get back to it.
- Highs: On July 1st I started working toward a big goal – to run a 5K in under 30 minutes. I’ve been running in the morning again and it feels amazing.
- Lows: My running times are not as fast as they were before my 5K last year in July 2021, but they are not as slow as they were when I first started running in May 2021. Hoping I can reach my goal!
I had a fun five days off full of baseball games, waterslides, BBQs, and fireworks. Then a lovely short week with only three work days and finally a fun wedding on Saturday. It was a great week and I’m loving the summer activities so far.
My focus areas for this week are:
1. Home/Environment – Lots of piles that just need to be knocked out.
2. Spirituality – I skipped a few days of reading “The Power of Now” so I need to make sure I get back to this routine. It was really helping me get to sleep and give me peaceful ideas to concentrate on.
