Weekly Review:

 

1. Fun – Score: 8

  • Highs: We have been having lot of fun lately seeing friends and family, camping, and really packing it all in during these last few days of summer break.
  • Lows: No real lows here except that we didn’t get everything in that we wanted to do this summer. We were busy every, single weekend but still didn’t fit it all in. Wow!
2. Career – Score: 7

  • Highs: I have a ton of work going on between the two projects that I’m on and I’m really enjoying it!
  • Lows: Still need to get to some training.
3. Contributions/Giving – Score: 2
  • Highs: No real highs here. 
  • Lows: Still a low score that needs some work.
4. Spirituality – Score: 4
  • Highs: I have been doing some work here reading a book called “The Power of Intention” and also “The Power of Now”.
  • Lows: I have to work on my implementation still.
5. Finances – Score: 7
  • Highs: I am doing well with tracking and saving.
  • Lows: I need to work on a budget but haven’t had any time.
6. Relationship – Score: 6
  • Highs: Had some fun together camping and getting outside.
  • Lows: With school and fall sports starting, those date nights are not looking like a possibility any time soon. Back to hanging out when the kids are at school and we are on a work break.
7. Environment – Score: 7
  • Highs: I have done a decent job of keeping our home straightened up after we had company.
  • Lows: I have big plans for decluttering and decorating that I really need to put into motion.
8. Family/friends – Score: 7
  • Highs: We’ve seen a lot of family lately and that’s been nice, especially family from out of town that we rarely see!
  • Lows: Not much to say for a low in this area.
9. Personal Development – Score: 7
  • Highs: I’m reading some good books and they have really hit me. I love when I read something and just sit in “awe” thinking about what I just read.
  • Lows: Still so many books, so little time. I finally took a stack back to the library so I could start over fresh-ish. Sigh.
10. Health – Score: 7
  • Highs: I finally went on a run/walk, my first since my 5K about a month ago. Felt good. Still too hot.
  • Lows: I’m always so in flux between “counting every bite and getting those macros perfect” and “eating intuitively and whatever I want”. Ugh.
Weekly Total: 62/100 (-4 points from last week)

We have been having super busy weeks. We’ve had family in town, we are trying to get into the swing of a new school year, fall sports have started, and we tried to fit in a camping trip at the last minute. Where has this summer gone?

My focus areas for this week are:

1. Environment – Our home has looked good since we had company stay with us a few weeks ago. I really want to keep it up!

2. Health/fitness – I have some decisions to make on where I want to go in this area.
