Weird Week in the Middle
This week is the week between Christmas and New Years. It’s always such a weird week for me. My brain tends to forget which day it is and what exactly is happening. I find myself often thinking “Okay, what are we doing? When is New Year’s Eve? Are we there yet?”
I typically take the week off between the two holidays. There have been a few years where I had to work because were were in the middle of a big project and sometimes you just have to use the quiet days before January to get ahead so when others come back, the project is ready for them.
This year, that was not the case and I find myself plopped on the couch, trying to strike a balance between relaxing and being productive. I love to use these days to answer all the “10 Questions to Reflect on the Year” and work through all dream planning and goal setting. I spend a lot of time on the couch with multiple books, binders, highlighters and cups of coffee.
The 2023 goal list is long and the New Year’s resolutions are numerous. However, I’m trying to remember I can’t do it all and give myself some grace.
What do you do during this buffer week? Do you set New Year’s resolutions and goal plan? What are you planning to accomplish in 2023?
Happy last week of the year!
