Weekly Review 2/4 – 2/10

My weekly reviews are going to be shorter and to the point. I’m making this year about simplifying!

Weekly Review:

1. Fun – Score: 8

Highs: Traveled again for one of my kid’s basketball tourneys. This time it was out of town so we stayed at a hotel with waterslides and made a weekend of it. Lots of fun making new friends and laughing a lot.
Lows: Not much for lows, just very busy and running on empty.
2. Career – Score: 7

Highs: I have a huge list of to dos and I’m knocking them out. 

Lows: I’ve struggled with focusing lately and I’m trying not to do just the bare minimum.

3. Contributions/Giving – Score: 3

Highs: Still making the best effort I can in this area.
Lows: Need more ways to help.
4. Spirituality – Score: 3
Highs: I have been reading “Living Untethered” before bed here and there but nothing consistent.
Lows: Need to get back to it consistently.
5. Finances – Score: 7
Highs: Doing well in this area. Not much needs to change.
Lows: No budget and have not synced my tracker in awhile.
6. Relationship – Score: 6

Highs: We have been doing better in this area which has been nice. Spent a lot of quality time hanging out while the kids swam at the hotel over the weekend. Much needed.
Lows: Still need a date night.
7. Environment – Score: 5
Highs: I am still following the Declutter 365 calendar to declutter my whole house. I can’t believe I’m still on track with this goal. Plus we finally got our Christmas tree down…now if we could only get the plastic Christmas totes out to the garage, ha.
Lows: Our upstairs is an absolute disaster. I get depressed whenever I go up there. Ugh.

8. Family/friends – Score: 8
Highs: We’ve been spending lots of time with family and friends at the kid sport gatherings.
Lows: Not much for a low, still would like to see more of family.


9. Personal Development – Score: 7

Highs: Finally knocking out some reading after a delay in selecting my next books.
Lows: Still too many books to read and never enough time.
10. Health – Score: 8
Highs: I have completed the first program in the “Run Less, Run Faster” book and I’m excited to jump into the next level. I am running comfortably at paces I’ve never run easily before and I love that!
Lows: Struggling to know what to do nutrition-wise and still trying to combine strength training and running in a way that works for me and doesn’t burn me out.
Weekly Total: 62/100 (+1 from last week)
This last week was super busy but I’m here for it. I am not getting everything done in the time that I want to but I’m trying to give myself some grace.
My focus areas for this week are:

 

1. Environment – I need to really tackle the upstairs and get my house back in order.

 

2. Spirituality – I have to get back into my “Living Untethered” reading this week.
