Weekly Review:

 

1. Fun – Score: 8

  • Highs: We were so busy all week with kids sports and having family in town visiting. Busy times but fun times!
  • Lows: Not much for lows here. Need to spend some more non-sports quality time as a family but that will come as fall sports are winding down.
2. Career – Score: 8

  • Highs: Work has been very busy in a good way. I enjoy “herding the cats” when I know what I’m doing. Plus we had a team building week recently that really motivated me. I also did well on the presentations I had to make.
  • Lows: Still need to make time for training.
3. Contributions/Giving – Score: 2
  • Highs: I’m trying to improve and thinking about opportunities.
  • Lows: Still a low score that needs some work.
4. Spirituality – Score: 3
  • Highs: I finished “The Power of Now” and I’ve started to re-read “The Untethered Soul” this week. I’m back to reading this 5-10 minutes before I go to sleep so it’s on my mind as I drift off.
  • Lows: Still haven’t done as much in this area as I want.
5. Finances – Score: 8
  • Highs: Still feeling good in this area. Need to start our big plans.
  • Lows: I really need to sync our accounts in our financial software. Ugh. Getting more and more behind.
6. Relationship – Score: 8
  • Highs: We had another great week and weekend. Looking forward to some dates soon, I hope.
  • Lows: Not much, just need to continue and to get out on some dates!
7. Environment – Score: 6
  • Highs: We had some family stay with us and that always gets our house in better shape.
  • Lows: I need a plan stat to get this place figured out.
8. Family/friends – Score: 8
  • Highs: Had family come to visit and had lots of fun!
  • Lows:  Just need more time to make more friends!
9. Personal Development – Score: 6
  • Highs: I have been feeling really good lately and taking time to remind myself of important things I’ve learned in PD reading.
  • Lows: I’m struggling to choose a new book to read. Usually I try to read something that will apply to something I’m struggling with at that moment but I can’t decide right now.
10. Health – Score: 7
  • Highs: I’m enjoying my new workout program but I really want to step it up and see some changes instead of sticking to maintenance.
  • Lows: I caught a cold during my work travels and I really hate being sick. I always feel like this happens when I’m on the brink of a big motivational push to go after my goals. Ugh.
Weekly Total: 63/100 (-1 points from last week)

Life has been super busy with work travel, kid sport practices, football and soccer scrimmages and games, and having family over. Looking forward to getting our evenings back for a little while as fall sports wind down.

My focus areas for this week are:

1. Health – I want to get over this cold and get back to top health.

2. Personal Development – I need to choose a good book and get started. Stop dilly dallying.
