Weekly Review:

 

1. Fun – Score: 9

  • Highs: We were out of town for part of this week in much warmer weather. We had a ton of fun and it felt great to get away.
  • Lows: Only low is that we are all a little sick so we had a pretty low key rest-of-the-week.
2. Career – Score: 7

  • Highs: I am very busy at work which I always love.
  • Lows: Still need to make time for training. Also, being out of town for a few days put me a little behind. Seems it’s never easy to take time off. You always have to find the time to catch up afterwards.
3. Contributions/Giving – Score: 2
  • Highs: Not much for a high here. Trying to find some charity opportunities for the holidays.
  • Lows: Still a low score that needs some work.
4. Spirituality – Score: 2
  • Highs:  I’m still trying to re-read “The Untethered Soul” and I need to make sure I focus on this more this week.
  • Lows: I have not been consistent with reading before bed.
5. Finances – Score: 7
  • Highs: Still feeling great in this area after making last minute travel plans without worrying too much about cost.
  • Lows: Need to sync my budgeting app. I have a weekly recurring task for this but I keep putting it off.
6. Relationship – Score: 6
  • Highs: Had some fun together for our weekend family getaway.
  • Lows: Definitely still need a few date nights. Ugh. Getting ridiculous.
7. Environment – Score: 7
  • Highs: House is slowly becoming a disaster. I’ve been keeping the main rooms in decent shape but the rest of the house, eek!
  • Lows: Lots of piles that need to be decluttered.
8. Family/friends – Score: 9
  • Highs: We had a ton of fun with family for our weekend getaway. Being sick has kept us in hiding however.
  • Lows:  Not much, just can’t wait to feel healthy again.
9. Personal Development – Score: 6
  • Highs: Doing ok here, I’ve been getting in some good reading. I’m also listening to podcasts in the morning after dropping the kids at school and it’s been very motivating. I’ve had a hard time fitting in podcasts before but this seem to be working. I also listen to them on 1.5x speed so I can get through them faster.
  • Lows: I’m still trying to figure out what direction to take next.
10. Health – Score: 6
  • Highs: Getting in my workouts every morning even though I’m sick. Happy to be sticking to a new program.
  • Lows: My nutrition has been terrible lately and I’m feeling really tired and run down.
Weekly Total: 62/100 (-7 points from last week)

We had so much fun last week and it was nice to get away. Feeling under the weather this week so I’m laying low, which is always hard for me. Looking forward to feeling good.

My focus areas for this week are:

1. Environment  – My house is a bit of a disaster zone from our travels and I’m ready to start a full-scale decluttering project.

2. Health – I’m thinking about going back to macro-counting since last time I did this I felt my best.
