Weekly Review:
1. Fun – Score: 6
- Highs: We didn’t do much this week besides kids’ sports. HOWEVER, we finally made our spring break plans and the excitement of that has bumped up the Fun score this week. Looking forward to some family fun!
- Lows: My back is still not 100% so no snowboarding this weekend again. Hoping spring weather and our spring break plans will finally start improving this score.
- Highs: I had some great conversations with my manager this week and I feel like I’m finally starting to get a “direction” in my career. For a long time, I felt like being a people manager was really the only next big step, but I’m starting to see a different path ahead and that’s so exciting because I know I don’t have the desire to manage people.
- Lows: I have a lot of work to do before taking any time off, so I need to get busy. Have a few things to do this week that are out of my comfort zone, so here we go!
- Highs: Still working on how I can increase this score. May need to set this as a focus area soon.
- Lows: See above.
- Highs: Still doing well with my meditation. I meditate for a few minutes every morning and then I find a 15 minute span during the day some time to use as a break. My mind has been wandering more this week so I need to focus on that.
- Lows: Need more work in this area. Still feeling a little lost.
- Highs: Still feeling great after good money news the other week. Looking forward to booking some vacations and some family fun! And finally getting our hot tub.
- Lows: Still need to get more organized in this area. Also, I have not finished our taxes and I need to do that ASAP. I’m always so behind and every year I swear I won’t do the same next year. Ugh.
- Highs: We have had some good days lately even without the chance to have a date night. Looking forward to vacationing together!
- Lows: Still need that date night!
- Highs: Doing well with keeping everything picked up and semi-clean. I actually completed some of my cleaning and decluttering tasks earlier in the week than normal so that was great progress.
- Lows: Still need a consistent routine.
- Highs: Making plans to see family so that feels good.
- Lows: Missing my family a lot this week. The last two years have been difficult with not seeing them. Really need a cards night with snacks!
- Highs: Finished another good book (Uncommon Accountability). It was a quick read but it gave me a little extra motivation this week.
- Lows: I’m happy that I’m finishing some books but I feel like I jump into the next one without implementing any changes from the first one.
- Highs: Macro counting has been going well and I’m feeling more energized. My back is about 90% back to normal so that has been wonderful and just a good reminder to take care of it and strengthen it. Looking into 5Ks (and maybe more??) that I can sign up for and getting excited about running season!
- Lows: My back is still not 100% but I can move without pain and finish my workouts without modifying.
I did well with doing stretches to help my back last week, which was one of my focus areas. My other focus area was my career since I was concerned I made a bad decision at work. I worked through it this past week and I don’t think it was a bad decision, it just wasn’t as great as I was hoping it would be.
My focus areas for this week are:
1. Relationship – I’d like to focus on being less negative with hubby and to listen better.
2. Family/Friends – I need to reach out to a friend I haven’t connected with in awhile. The pandemic just made it hard to get together and now it’s almost like I don’t know how to socialize anymore. I also would love to see my family this week.
Have a Level 10 week!
