Weekly Review:
1. Fun – Score: 4
- Highs: Another busy week of kids’ sports and activities.
- Lows: Both kids were sick so we missed a few activities this week and couldn’t do much as a family. Looking forward to a healthy week!
- Highs: Did some things that were out of my comfort zone and it felt good to grow. Started to move from the researching stage of a project to the “doing” stage and I enjoy that part the most.
- Lows: It’s hard to work from home when kids are home sick.
- Highs: Still working on how I can increase this score.
- Lows: See above.
- Highs: My meditation practice went well this week.
- Lows: Need more work in this area. Still feeling a little lost.
- Highs: Looking forward to some home projects that we’ve been saving for.
- Lows: No real lows, just need to look more into budgeting and investing.
- Highs: We’ve been spending a lot of time together and it’s been fun.
- Lows: Still in desperate need of a date night. Our usual babysitter is my mom and we don’t want to send the kids to her house when they’ve been sick, so our Valentine’s Day will be low key this year, which is not too different than usual. 🙂
- Highs: Still going strong with Declutter 365. I also kept up on cleaning this week and our first floor is looking great!
- Lows: Still need more decorating and organizing but I’ll get there.
- Highs: With sick kids, we haven’t really seen anyone. Spent a lot of time together lately.
- Lows: Sick kids, hiding out, not great.
- Highs: I’m still feeing very motivated after reading “Everything is Figuroutable”. Also reading a great new book called “The Talent Code” that has been very interesting.
- Lows: Need to slow my reading down and focus on taking action but I’ve been checking out too many library books and I’m struggling to keep up.
- Highs: I started counting macros and it’s been making a huge different. I’ve upped my protein quite a bit since I was definitely not eating enough protein for how much strength training I was doing. I’m starting to see results and I have more energy.
- Lows: Can’t wait to start running. I miss it so much! Looking at signing up for a few runs this year.
I definitely did not reach my goal this week of doing fun family activities because we had sick kids and just stayed at home. Looking forward to trying again next weekend. I did try to improve my attitude in my relationship this week and that helped me be less grumpy.
This is going to be a short update because we are getting ready to “party” for the Superbowl. The two areas I’m going to focus on this week is Spirituality and Environment:
1. Spirituality: I want to revisit the book “The Untethered Soul” to re-ignite my spiritual practices. I love that book!
2. Environment: I need to start making a plan to focus on decluttering, organizing and decorating our home. We built and moved into our house almost 4 years ago and I really need to make it more “homey”.
Have a Level 10 week!
