Weekly Review 5/19 – 5/25
Dates: 05/19/24 – 05/25/24
My weekly reviews are going to be shorter and to the point. I’m making this year about simplifying!

Weekly Review:
1. Fun – Score: 7
Highs: This month is still in full craziness. With both kids in travel sports, our “fun” has been travelling. We even had to drive about 9 hours away to get to a basketball tourney over Memorial Day weekend. Fun, yet busy!
Lows: I am looking (a little bit) forward to some less-busy days where we can get some summer fun in.
2. Career – Score: 8
Highs: Multiple projects at work are keeping me very busy, which I always love.
Lows: Lots of training I want to get in but still not enough time.
3. Contributions/Giving – Score: 2
Highs: Not much in this area.
Lows: Still looking for more ways to help.
4. Spirituality – Score: 2
Highs: Reading for this area is alluding me. Ugh.
Lows: Need to continue to focus on my reading in this area.

5. Finances – Score: 7
Highs: Doing well here without much to highlight. Spending a lot with all the sports and things around the house, but it is what it is.
Lows: I made some progress on a budget but not much.
Lows: I made some progress on a budget but not much.
6. Relationship – Score: 7
Highs: We have had a wonderful few weeks! Really spent some good quality time together.
Lows: Not much here, just under lots of stress at times and that can take its toll.

7. Environment – Score: 7
Highs: When we are out of town a lot, most areas stay decent. Also, I’ve done better at keeping my kids cleaning up their areas (rooms, rec room).
Lows: I’m still behind on some decluttering but catching up!

8. Family/friends – Score: 9
Highs: We’ve seen lots of family and friends with all the sports games and tourneys.
Lows: Not many lows, just need to keep it up once all the sports wind down.

9. Personal Development – Score: 7
Highs: I finished “Slow Productivity” by Cal Newport. It was a fantastic book and I have several ideas I want to implement.
Lows: Still need to find time to make sure I implement better.

10. Health – Score: 8
Highs: I am focused on a new weight lifting program. I have completed over a week of it and I’m loving it. Plus, I was able to complete workouts during our sports travel, including one cardio-type working in the room and another weight training workout in the hotel weight room. Boom!
Lows: Not much for a low. I was bummed that I completed two 12-week running training programs and ended up having to walk/run one of the races (due to one of my kids wanting to do it with me) and had to bow out of the 5K due to kid sports travel. I need to reassess what I want to do in terms of running. Ugh.

Weekly Total: 64/100 (-2 change from last week)
May continues its crazy march forward with travel sports, concerts, year-end celebrations, practices, field trips and many, many school functions. I am embracing it and just trying to go with the flow. How’s your May?
My focus areas for this week are:
1. Environment – All the travel has some areas of my house needing some major attention (hello, giant pile of mail).
2. Personal Development – I need a new book to get moving on!
