Weekly Review:

 

1. Fun – Score: 6

  • Highs: We had some fun with family this week. Too busy with school and sports for much else.
  • Lows: Bummed that we missed a few things on the summer bucket list.
2. Career – Score: 6

  • Highs: Lots to do, which I love.
  • Lows: Still need to get to some training and I have some presentations I need to prepare for but haven’t had much time to work on. I’m also feeling a little distracted, which I hate.
3. Contributions/Giving – Score: 2
  • Highs: Not much here.
  • Lows: Still a low score that needs some work.
4. Spirituality – Score: 4
  • Highs: I am doing well with “The Power of Now” and getting through it. It’s a library book and due soon so I really need to buckle down.
  • Lows: I missed a few days with my reading plan but getting back to it.
5. Finances – Score: 8
  • Highs: Feeling good in this area. Just need a few tweaks.
  • Lows: I need to make sure I keep up with syncing my accounts.
6. Relationship – Score: 4
  • Highs: The week started out good but then took a nosedive.
  • Lows: We had some big issues this week and my score definitely reflects that. Not sure what to do about it yet.
7. Environment – Score: 7
  • Highs: The house (at least the first floor) is still looking decent after visitors last week, so that’s a plus.
  • Lows: I watched some motivational decluttering and organizing videos this week but I already feel the excitement wearing off. I don’t know what’s wrong with me.
8. Family/friends – Score: 9
  • Highs: We’ve seen a lot of family lately which as been great.
  • Lows: Haven’t seen much of friends. Sigh.
9. Personal Development – Score: 5
  • Highs: Had a few moments of motivation this week, which was new and nice for a change.
  • Lows: Not enough time to get into books I want to read or things I want to do so I get stuck and just scroll on my phone. Ugh. Wasted so much time this weekend.
10. Health – Score: 7
  • Highs: Feeling strong lately from my morning workouts and I’m enjoying them.
  • Lows: Figuring out my nutrition plan is always my pain point. I start weighing and tracking macros Monday morning and by Tuesday I’m frustrated and don’t feel like I have the time for it or I don’t want to give my (very limited) energy to it.
Weekly Total: 57/00 (-9 points from last week)

I had a really rough week. It started out so well with family visiting and feeling motivated from watching the Get Organized HQ Virtual Event. However, by Friday, things were not looking so good. Rough times in a lot of the areas. Hoping this is just a little dip in the scores and I can do better this next week.

My focus areas for this week are:

1. Spiritual – Need to make sure I’m reading every night, at bare minimum.

2. Career –  I’ve been very distracted at work and really need to get my focus back. Maybe I can start using the Pomodoro Technique to get back on track this week.
